Kilchurn Castle

My first day out of 2010 proved to be a rather frustrating one for a few reasons, the car broke down before I even left Falkirk, then the oil light came on passing through Tyndrum and there was no sign of the spells of sunshine that certain websites said would be on show.
Never the less I was determined to shoot away. Persistent low cloud which was to end my day prematurely, covered the top of Beinn Eunaich, ice still evidence of our coldest winter spell in decades lay on the still waters of Loch Awe, the field lay silent, the only sounds of passing ducks and the 9 AM Glasgow to Oban train.
The conditions weren't the best but I was back outdoors, doing what I love most, capturing Scotland.
