Castle Ruins

Tantallon Castle just South of North Berwick fascinates and frustrates me, I've visited the area around it's ruins a few times now in search of it's best 'capture' point, where I can showcase it's crumbling but still evident beauty with the surroundings it's shared for centuries. I had visions of the castle being lit by the early morning rays of the rising sun, it came, it done it's job, sadly the scattered cloud cover metcheck promised me didn't materialise. The sky above lay naked and uninteresting making this shot a 'Could've been'.
