Achray Forest-Trossachs

Looking at this photograph I couldn't help but think it reminded me of a war film, perhaps Platoon ?, Hamburger Hill ?.

The clearing fog could be mistaken for artillery smoke, the tree felling signifies shell damage.

The feeling of the place at the time could not be further away from this comparison, no battles were fought that day.
